I'm a member of LA south REIA under Lisa Hoegler, our organizer/teacher /mentor. I have been in real estate for over 20 years now as a homeowner, landlord, realtor and investor. I have attended many real estate training event seminar and some trainings were I have spent over 20k for training. I have never received the knowledge and one-on-one training I have received here.  
 I have always left with several questions on how things are really done, with no answer s. I have learned a lot over the past 20 plus years about real estate but there is still so much I don't know, Lisa is filling in a lot of those gaps.  My first major question was about hard money and how I could get it. Well she has explained the process to me so well I can teach it myself.  Learning the pro and cons of this business without having to pay for it by making a mistake is great.
Another things that set her apart, she took the entire group (all who wanted to attend) to a house a student purchased and partner with her to flip, we went through everything . Looking at it when it was first purchased, going over rehab cost and choosing the construction team.  Then the finished product and it actually sold for 5K more than predicted while under rehab.
I'm very impressed and happy to be a member of LA south REIA, I only wish I would have found about this sooner, it could have saved me a lot of time and money.

Our membership in LA S. REIA helped us quickly build a trusted and successful real estate investing team, and attending the monthly meetings and specialty workshops armed us with the knowledge we desperately needed. Within the first few months of membership, we purchased a 7-unit apartment building, which has gained approximately 35% in value over the past year. In just our second year we also purchased a 5-unit apartment building with similar upside potential.
